NanoConference

On October 19, 2009, the Office of the Provost sponsored a conference celebrating the five-year anniversary of the Wake Forest University Center for Nanotechnology and Molecular materials. The conference brought together some of the top nano-experts in the southeastern United States for presentations and discussions and included a keynote address from Dr. Thomas Webster of Brown University.
The conference was divided into two sessions: one in the morning featuring presentations from experts in the field of nanomedicine, and one in the afternoon featuring experts in the field of organic and inorganic materials and devices. Following these two main sessions, conference attendees were able to view the Wake Forest University Center for Nanotechnology and Molecular Materials firsthand at a poster session and reception.
