Secrest Artists Series: Xiayin Wang – Thursday, April 10th

You won’t want to miss this season’s last Secrest Artists Series performance on Thursday, April 10th at 7:30 pm in Brendle Recital Hall. An artist with a winning combination of superb musicianship, personal verve, and riveting technical brilliance, pianist Xiayin Wang conquers the hearts of audiences wherever she appears. As recitalist, chamber musician, and orchestral soloist in such venues as New York’s Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center, she has already achieved a high level of recognition for her commanding performances.

TechXploration – Tuesday, April 8th

TechXploration will take place on Tuesday, April 8th from 12 noon – 3pm in Benson, 401. Come understand how technologies are being leveraged in teaching, learning, research, engagement and creative endeavors at Wake Forest! Food will be served.

Correspondences: A Conversation with Jim Rosen – Monday, March 31st

Visit the Charlotte and Philip Hanes Art Gallery for a conversation and reception with artist James Rosen on Monday, March 31st at 5pm. Rosen’s work comprises the current Hanes Art Gallery exhibition Ros-en-velopes: envelopes and enclosures from James Rosen. It promises to be a conversation as various and engaging as the envelopes themselves.

Provost Rogan Kersh’s Annual Address – Wednesday, March 26th

At the invitation of the Faculty Senate, Provost Rogan Kersh will present his annual address to the University on March 26 from 4 to 5 p.m. in Pugh Auditorium, Benson University Center. The provost will speak about University priorities, as well as the challenges and opportunities that face the University’s academic mission and programs. The Faculty Senate invites faculty, staff and students to attend.
