Ken began his tenure at Wake Forest in October 2020 and has 30 years of experience in higher education. Prior to joining Wake, he served Biola University for ten years as Dean of Academic Records & University Registrar. As the University’s academic records custodian, Gilson directs student registration, grading, transfer credit, degree audit, coordinates academic ceremonies, and participates in strategic academic planning. He holds a doctor of education from the University of Southern California, a master’s degree in information technology and privacy law from the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law, and an undergraduate degree in psychology from Wheaton College (IL).
