Bio
Jen serves as the Senior Administrative Coordinator and Project Coordinator for the Provost Office. She supports and collaborates with the Vice Provost for Research, Scholarly Inquiry, and Creative Activity, Vice Provost for Academic Affairs, Associate Provost for AI Initiatives and the Associate Provost for Faculty Affairs. Jen also manages and supports the daily activities, short-and-long term projects and the long-term goals of the senior administrative team. Workday Committees, compiling rosters, notifying committees of vacancies and terms, are part of Jen’s on-going project management. Staffs and coordinates various searches for direct reports of the Vice/ Associate Provost. In addition, she serves as the first point of contact for all visitors and oversees the office systems and procedures to ensure efficient operations and delivery of service.
Jen joined the Provost Office in January 2024, but has been with the university since 2016. Previously held roles in Human Resources and Financial Services. Prior to Wake Forest University, Jen was the Associate Director of a non-profit organization and grant writer.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Clarke University (College) in Dubuque, Iowa.
Areas of Responsibility:
- Oversees and executes projects of the Vice and Associate Provosts.
- Manages logistical support for all Vice and Associate Provosts (i.e. calendar management, schedules meetings, creates agendas, and coordinating all needed logistics).
- Develops comprehensive project plans, timelines, monitoring and tracking progress and deliverables, resource allocation, budget, along with roles and responsibilities of committee members.
- Overseas and manages Workday Committees (rosters, updates, running reports, etc)
- Manages onboarding for new team members.
- Provides planning on support for meetings, events and activities hosted by the Vice and Associate Provosts.
- Provides assistance to the Associate Director for Events and Engagement and the Executive Assistant, as needed.
- Serves as office manager and space manager for the Provost Office Conference Room.
