Prior to her current role in the Provost Office, Melissa began her career at Wake Forest in 2006 in Human Resources. Her current position, the Director of Talent Management supports talent development strategies for the Provost’s division including, recruiting/hiring strategies and execution, and development of a comprehensive on-boarding program and process management. She provides guidance, facilitation, and support to hiring managers, supervisors, department heads, Assistant, Associate and Vice Provosts, and Deans in the development and implementation of effective procedures, systems, programs, and/or practices.

Barbara Meredith
Assistant Director, Budget & Finance
Prior to her current position in the Provost Office, Barbara began her career at Wake Forest in 2005 in Financial Services. Her current position includes managing the Provost operating budgets, provides financial reporting and budget oversight for areas under the Provost Office including support for Assistant and Associate Provosts.

Jason Oppel
Senior Business Process Analyst
Jason oversees and coordinates all event management policies, processes, and systems across the university. He also provides technical leadership and project management within the Provost’s Office due to his deep technical background. Prior to his current role, Jason was an application administrator in Information Systems at Wake.
