Academic Program Administrative Committee (APAC)
The Academic Program Administrative Committee formed in 2020 to support the implementation logistics for new academic programs and significant changes to existing academic programs in the Reynolda and Charlotte academic units. This group reviews new program proposals or program change proposals for considerations that may impact their launch and success. The APAC does not approve programs but advises schools and program proposers on issues that may need to be resolved to ensure program success, accreditation, compliance, and other concerns. APAC is comprised of representatives from the offices of Institutional Research, Financial Aid, Student Financial Services, Information Systems, Budget, University Registrar, Online Education, Human Resources, Campus Life, International Scholar Services, Academic Advising, and from each of the academic schools. Representatives from the academic schools present proposals from their schools to the APAC and connect proposal authors with specific offices where additional follow-up prior to a program launch may be recommended. Those wishing to propose new academic programs should contact their Dean and school representative to begin the proposal process.
